Matinicus Congregational Church
This year, we plan on using the downstairs of the church as a community hall, with community and fund raising dinners, musical evenings, weekly craft markets, and maybe movie nights, etc. We will have visiting ministers this summer as usual. Summer 2006 was the 100th anniversary of the church! The renovation of the kitchen is done and we have hot and cold running water! Thanks to everyone who helped out. A dedication of the well and water was held Sunday, July 23rd. |
| A Matinicus Island "Prom" is being held in the basement of the church on Monday, August 25th. Request sheets for music are posted in the store. Age limit 16 to 116 years. |
